It involves both obsession and compulsion.
With hundreds of classified forms of mental illness, there are millions of Americans who suffer from some form of mental disorder in a given year. It is important to pick up on warning signs and seek help for yourself or your family member if you think yourself or someone else may have a mental or emotional problem. No one has perfect health all the time but ongoing problems can take effect on our well being. Your mental well being affects many areas of your life; work, school, relationships with others, sleep, appetite, and the ability to think clearly or make decisions. Our mental health is determined by our thoughts, emotions, behaviors and body reactions.
